Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone

Harry Potter and The Philosophers Stone, is the first film of the series, and is based on the highly popular series of books by JK Rowling. It is about a young boy who lives with his Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon, after his parents die when he is one year old.

At the age of 11, Harry Potter dicovers his true identity; he is a wizard. He becomes a student at a famous School: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He soon becomes best friends with Ron Weasley (a young wizard who comes from a poor background) and Hermione Granger (an annoying and smart muggle born witch), together they share an eventful and fun year ending with Harry meeting his parents murderers and finding out a bit about his past.
